MILLER — Weather permitting, work will begin July 14 on Nebraska Highway 40 (N-40), east of Miller at reference post 66+92, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Simon Contractors, Inc., of Cheyenne, Wyo., is the contractor for this project. Work includes bridge girder and bent repairs. Traffic will be maintained with shoulder closures and temporary traffic signals. A 10-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is Sept. 2025.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
