NRG MEDIA First Serve Staycation Official Contest RULES
These contest rules are specific to the “First Serve Staycation Contest” (the “Contest”) conducted by NRG Media, LLC d/b/a KBBK, KLIN, KGFW, KQKY, KRNY, KROR, KSYZ, KQKQ, KOZN, and CentralNebraskaToday.com (the “Company” or the “Station”). These rules are intended to supplement the General Contest Rules, however, to the extent that the General Contest Rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest. The Contest dates are July 14 through July 31, 2025.
Listeners must be at least 21 years of age as of July 31, 2025 and reside within 50 miles of any of the listed Station’s studios to enter and win this contest.
How to Play:
During the contest period, listeners may visit the station website of any of the participating stations and fill out an online contest form for the chance to win. Entrants may enter once per day per station. They may enter multiple days and on multiple stations for more chances to win.
How to Win:
A random drawing for one Grand Prize winner will be held August 1, 2025 from all eligible entries.
Prizes:
There will be 1 Grand Prize winner, who will receive:
- Two 3-day passes to AVCA First Serve Volleyball event at Pinnacle Bank Arena, August 22-24, 2025
- Two overnight hotel stay in one room for 2 guests at Graduate Lincoln, August 22 and 23, 2025
- $150 Visa gift card
Total prize value is $892.
Two-night hotel accommodations will be provided with hotel room and tax prepaid. All incidentals, including but not limited to room service, parking, resort fees, cleaning fees or damages will be the responsibility of the winner and/or guest. A credit card will be required to check in.
Winner and guest will be responsible for all ground transportation, which includes but is not limited to trips to/from the hotel and trips to/from the venue.
Winner and guests, on their own behalf and on behalf of their heirs, successors or assigns, in consideration of participation in a contest, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, does hereby COVENANT TO FULLY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE NRG Media, the Stations, contest sponsors, and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, related entities, directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, from and against any and all actions, charges, claims, losses, costs, damages, expenses (including attorneys’ fees and expenses) and liabilities of any kind or character, whether known or unknown, in connection with, arising out of or in any way related to Winner’s participation in or winning of any contest and/or acceptance, award, ownership or use of prize, including transportation and travel, after it is awarded. Winner and guests travel at their own risk.
NRG Media and the Stations are not responsible for Winner’s or Guests’ inability to travel for any reason whatsoever, including non-acceptance of travel documents, government shut down, or any travel restrictions imposed for health or safety reasons, or Winner’s or Guests’ illness.
NRG, the Station, and contest sponsors are not responsible for a contestant’s inability to acquire transportation to a location to use or accept the prize, personal circumstances prohibiting participation in a contest or use of the prize, or other circumstances beyond their control.
Station acts as an agent only and does not control the various aspects of prize including but not limited to health and safety measures of events, venues, or lodging.
