Railroad crossing at night, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
HARLAN CO. — Weather permitting, a railroad crossing project will begin August 4 on Nebraska Highway 4 (N-4) at reference post 5+14 in Harlan County, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway (BNSF). Follow the marked detour. Work is anticipated to take fours (4) days.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
