GRAND ISLAND — A teenage couple were both cited for domestic assault after an incident that took place in Grand Island on Saturday, July 19.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, a belated domestic assault was reported at a residence on W. 2nd St.
During the investigation, it was determined that a 17-year-old male and his 18-year-old girlfriend were involved in a domestic assault. During the fight, it was reported that two other individuals had also been assaulted.
The 17-year-old male was cited for third degree domestic assault and assault by strangulation. The 18-year-old female was cited for two counts of third degree domestic assault and third degree assault – mutual.
