GRAND ISLAND — Over $4,000 was stolen from two gambling machines from a location in Grand Island during the early morning hours of Friday, July 25.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, a report was made to law enforcement that two gambling machines at a location on N. Pine St. had been forced open and the cash taken from inside the devices.

Two machines belonging to Accel Entertainment were found to be forced open and $3,000 and $1,683 taken from each for a total of $4,683.

The case is under investigation by the GIPD.
