KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Public Works Department on behalf of the Union Pacific Railroad announces that track repair work will begin on the Central Avenue Railroad Crossing on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Following the reopening of the Central Avenue crossing, work on the 5th Avenue crossing will take place with it being completed on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Citizens will need to use an alternate route during the closures.
