A private plane that was due to land Wednesday night at Kearney Regional Airport is missing.
Currently rescue crews are searching for the plane in an area North of the airport, with the search area stretching from 145th Rd. to 190th Rd. on Imperial Avenue. Kearney Police have deployed their drone unit to help with the search, alongside the Nebraska State Patrol Air Wing unit.
According to data from Flightaware.com, there were 14 planes that were set to arrive in Kearney Wednesday, including the missing plane. A SkyWest flight from Denver was the last flight that landed at the airport Wednesday night.
