GRAND ISLAND — Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce the launch of Mr. Habitat 2025.

This annual fundraising competition brings local leaders together in a lighthearted contest with a serious purpose: raising support for safe, affordable housing in our community.

Meet the Candidates:

• Jeff Williams – Outside Salesman, Fireplace Stone & Patio
• Andy Marsh – Owner, Keystone Properties
• Kevin Denney – Chief of Police, Grand Island Police Department
• John Dillard – Branch Manager, Murray Roofing
• Alfredo Ramirez – Owner, Larry’s Appliance & A Helping Hand

Each candidate has a fundraising goal of $12,000, and every dollar donated is equivalent to one vote. At the end of the campaign, the candidate with the most votes will be crowned Mr. Habitat 2025 at the celebration event on Thursday, November 7th.

Event tickets are now available for sale, and can be purchased through the gihabitat.org/mrhabitat2025 website. Individual tickets are $50, and a table of eight is $350. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 pm, on November 7th, at Full Circle Downtown.
