HASTINGS — The Hastings Police Department released their daily activity from Monday, Oct. 6.
Reported Offenses:
- On October 6, 2025, a 93-year-old Hastings resident reported a hit and run accident in the 1400 block of West 16th Street.
- On October 6, 2025, a 42-year-old Grand Island resident reported a hit and run accident in the 2700 block of North Highway 281.
- On October 6, 2025, a 32-year-old Hastings resident reported threats in the 1600 block of West 7th Street.
- On October 6, 2025, a 15-year-old Hastings resident reported a theft in the 1100 block of West 14th Street.
- On October 6, 2025, a 25-year-old Hastings resident reported intimidation by electronic communication in the 1100 block of East South Street.
- On October 6, 2025, a 17-year-old Hastings resident reported a threat in the 3800 block of Osborne Drive West.
Arrests/Citations:
- On October 7, 2025, a 23-year-old Burwell resident was arrested for assault by strangulation or suffocation and 3rd degree assault in the 1900 block of West 5th Street.
