HASTINGS — Hastings Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a structure fire around 9:30 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025 at 303 Oswego Ave.
No human residents were home when firefighters arrived, but firefighters did rescue two dogs.
The fire was not active when firefighters arrived, but the house did sustain smoke damage. The cause and starting point of the fire are under investigation.
Hastings Police Department, Utility Department, Street Department and Hastings Rural Fire Department responded to the incident as well.
