LEXINGTON — The Minutemaids Wrestling Team is proud to announce our 2025-2026 team captains. Each year, our captains are selected by their teammates, not based on wrestling records, but on the values that define who we are as a team.
Our captains embody the core principles of the Minutemaids program: selflessness, teamwork, and excellence as both athletes and students. They represent what it means to put the team first, lead by example, and protect our culture which is the foundation for our team’s growth and success.
That is why our captains wear white headgear. Wearing white is a symbol of their dedication to leadership, integrity, and service to others. If you see a Minutemaid step onto the mat wearing white, that is our leader, someone who has accepted the responsibility of upholding the standard for our team and those who come after us.
