KEARNEY — The Kearney City Council will consider an air service agreement that would add an additional daily round-trip flight between Kearney Regional Airport (EAR) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD).
The proposed agreement with SkyWest Airlines, operating under the United Express brand, would provide one daily round-trip flight, seven days a week, beginning April 30, 2026, and continuing through October 31, 2027.
The flight would utilize a CRJ200 aircraft, typical capacity is 50 passengers, offering travelers additional connectivity to one of the nation’s largest airports.
The City Council will review and consider approval of the agreement at its upcoming meeting on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
