GRAND ISLAND – The City of Grand Island would like to announce various planned closures for Veterans Day on Nov. 11.
All of the departments below will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11:
*Grand Island City Hall
*Crane Public Transit
*Utilities Service Center
*Solid Waste Facility
*Grand Island Public Library
*GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
*Transit Office
*Street & Fleet Office
*Wastewater Treatment Plant
*Grand Island Cemetery Office
Jackrabbit Run Golf Course will remain open for both practice and play from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Community Fieldhouse will also be open from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Heartland Shooting Park and Heartland Events Center will be closed.
