Man and woman arrested for assault by mutual consent in Grand Island

GRAND ISLAND — A man and women in Grand Island were arrested for assault by mutual consent during the evening hours of Wednesday, Nov. 12.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 6:39 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of W. Capital Ave. in reference to an assault that occurred.

After the investigation, Brian Thomas and Danielle Papst were both arrested.

Thomas was arrested for assault by mutual consent – cause bodily injury, negligent child abuse and terroristic threats. Papst was arrested for assault by mutual consent, cause bodily injury.
