GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested William Duffy, 26, of Grand Island on Nov. 15 after he threw a knife at his 26-year-old girlfriend and threatened her.
Police responded to 238 White Street regarding a welfare check. Police encountered Duffy, according to Grand Island Police Division Chief Dean Elliott. Contact was made with multiple victims at the scene.
Duffy was arrested for felony terroristic threats, felony using a weapon to commit a felony, felony possession of stolen property, three counts of felony child abuse regarding three children at the scene, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and misdemeanor obstruction of a police officer.
