GRAND ISLAND – The Hargis House Woman’s Club is getting ready for this year‘s Holiday Tour of Homes set for Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Six homeowners will open their doors to ticket holders, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the festive magic of this cherished holiday tradition.

The primary goal of the Holiday Tour is to raise funds for the continued restoration of the historic Hargis House. Members of this nonprofit are determined to return this Queen Anne Victorian to its former glory by completing the exterior and starting the interior renovations with funds raised. Much has already been accomplished due to the generous contributions from members, donors and businesses in the community.

Committee chair Anita Lewandowski said, “We are thrilled that each home has their own style and way of decorating. Ticket holders will definitely pick up some ideas they can use for the holidays. We extend heartfelt gratitude to the local homeowners for generously opening their homes to the public for this event, for their commitment to the Hargis House and for embracing the spirit of the season.”

The locations on the tour of homes are: Kent and Kacey Koch, 2021 W. Charles; Lori Erickson, 4127 Sandalwood Dr.; Riverside Lodge, 404 Woodland Dr.; Dale and Karleen Beckman, 2816 S. Blaine; Chris and Lauren Dunn, 2821 North Monitor Rd.; and Stolley House at Stolley Park.
