HASTINGS — Many City of Hastings offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Front desk services will be unavailable at the Hastings Police Department, Hastings Fire & Rescue, Administration, Finance, Development Services, Hastings Utilities Department, Hastings Municipal Airport, Parks and Recreation Department and Hastings Public Library. Emergency response 911 and utility emergency services will remain available.
Also, Hastings Public Library is closing at 5 p.m., on Wednesday, which is two hours earlier than normal. Normal hours will resume on Saturday.
The Solid Waste Landfill will be closed only on Thursday, Nov. 27, and will resume regular hours on Friday.
The Hastings Museum will be closed on Thanksgiving, but open for holiday hours Friday-Sunday. The Museum will be open the following hours:
- Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, 1-6 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Mondays during the fall and winter. Normal hours for all other City of Hastings departments will resume on Monday, Dec. 1.
