LOUP CITY — Over 700 customers were impacted by a power outage in Loup City during the morning of Thursday, Dec. 11.
According to the Nebraska Public Power District outage map, around 7:45 a.m., 711 customers were without power in Loup City.
Per NPPD, a crew is in the area making repairs to a transformer. Per the outage map, the estimated time of restoration is around 11 a.m.
According to the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office, due to the unknown time frame of power being restored, Loup City Public Schools is being dismissed.
