GRAND ISLAND — Class B No. 9-rated (Omaha World-Herald) Seward locked up Northwest in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 57-45 road victory over the Vikings on Saturday afternoon at Rosencrants Gymnasium.

Karlee Baack led three Bluejays (2-2) in double figures with 16 points, including three 3-pointers in the third quarter. Jackie Eberspacher added 14 points and Rylinn Hiser had 12 points for Seward, which outscored Northwest 12-6 in the fourth quarter.

Emersyn Graves scored a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers, for Northwest (2-2). Abby Dinkelman had two third-quarter treys and finished with eight points for the Vikings, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.
