KEARNEY — The Kearney city council approved a renewed lease agreement with Apollo Med Flights for hanger space at the Kearney Regional Airport during their meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
In December 2022, the council approved a use and operations agreement between the city and Apollo Med Flights, based in Amarillo, Texas, which allows them to lease space in Hanger T-926 at the Kearney Regional Airport.
Renewal of this lease is now due and will allow Apollo Med Flight to continue to offer helicopter and aircraft aerial ambulance services.
The rental fee for the space increased to $1,234.00 and extended it for three years, ending Dec. 31, 2028.
