LEXINGTON —A Bertrand woman has been charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child in Dawson County Court.
Matracia Wright, 30, is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, a Class 1B felony.
Wright was arraigned in county court on Monday, Dec. 29 and her bail was set at ten percent of $200,000.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 13, 2026, at 11 a.m.
Both the complaint and affidavit of probable cause have been sealed by the court in this case.
It was noted the affidavit contains, “detailed and graphic information regarding the sexual assault of a victim and information that…would lead to the identification of the same victim.”
