GRAND ISLAND – Four people filed Jan. 6 for positions on the Hall County Board of Commissioners and Grand Island City Council, as of 3 p.m. Jan. 6.
Incumbent Butch Hurst, 72, filed for re-election to District 1 on the Hall County Board of Commissioners.
Lynn Gardient, 54, filed for District 5 on the Hall County Board of Commissioners. The current Commissioner in that position is Jane Richardson.
Incumbent Jack Sheard, 47, filed for Grand Island City Council Ward 1.
Lindsey Jurgens, 40, filed for Grand Island City Council Ward 5. Doug Lanfear is the current Grand Island City Council member in that position.
