CENTRAL CITY — State Senator Loren Lippincott, a conservative Republican representing District 34, has filed the necessary paperwork with the Secretary of State to seek a second term in the Nebraska Legislature.

Lippincott, a fifth-generation Nebraskan, Air Force veteran, and retired commercial airline captain, was first elected in 2022 and has served as a strong voice for rural Nebraska and traditional values.
“It’s been the honor of my life to represent the people of District 34, and I’m running for reelection to continue the fight for lower taxes, fewer regulations, and Nebraska values,” said Lippincott. “We’ve made progress, but there’s more work to do to support agriculture, protect innocent life, uphold the Second Amendment, and ensure our elections are secure and transparent.”

Senator Lippincott serves as chairman of the Legislature’s Rules Committee, leading deliberations on the body’s procedures and internal governance—an influential position that helped shape the tone and direction of the 2025 session. In addition, he serves on the Appropriations Committee, where he has played a direct role in shaping the state budget, advocating for responsible spending, enhanced education funding, and rural priorities. Through these committee roles, Senator Lippincott continues to influence Nebraska’s policy and fiscal landscape while advancing a conservative agenda.

District 34 includes Hamilton, Merrick, and Nance counties, as well as part of Hall County including Grand Island. During his time in the Legislature, Lippincott has prioritized property tax relief, defended constitutional rights, and supported legislation to strengthen families, farms, and faith-based communities.

A fifth generation Nebraska farmer, Lippincott continues to help operate his family’s farm north of Central City. He is a member of Central City Bible Church and proud father and grandfather.
