KEARNEY — A Kearney man who had been accused of creating child sex abuse materials has pleaded no contest to amended charges.
Dylan Judd, 27, had been charged with two counts of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct, Class 1D felony, two charges of possession of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct and commit intentional child abuse, Class 3A felony.
Judd appeared for a pre-trial hearing pleaded no contest to two counts of possession of child pornography; all other charges were dismissed by the court as part of a plea agreement.
Sentencing in the case has been set for March 27 at 11 a.m. in Buffalo County District Court.
The affidavit supporting continued detention, which details the allegations, has been sealed in this case.
However, the complaint states that Judd is accused of creating and possessing child sexual abuse material between July 25 and Aug. 8. During the same period, he is also charged with child abuse of an eight-year-old minor child.
Judd was arrested and booked into the Buffalo County Jail on Friday, Aug. 8, 2025.
