GRAND ISLAND – A Grand Island woman entered a plea agreement Feb. 3 for hitting a child on a scooter with a vehicle, then leaving the scene of the accident.
Jordon Miller, 30, of 1824 E. Seventh St. pleaded no contest to felony attempted failure to stop following a personal injury accident and felony tampering with physical evidence for the June 3, 2025, incident. Prosecution will recommend that sentences be served concurrently for the two charges.
The accident occurred at 1421 E. Seventh St. The juvenile that was hit suffered serious bodily injury, according to a court affidavit.
Hall County District Judge Patrick Lee will sentence Miller at 10 a.m. April 16.
