GRAND ISLAND – Several incumbents have filed for re-election in Hall County.
The deadline for incumbents to file is Feb. 17. The deadline for non-incumbents to file is March 2 for the May 12 election.
Hall County Assessor/Register of Deeds Kristi Wold, 46, filed for re-election Feb. 11.
For the Grand Island Public Schools Board of Education, Ward A incumbent Amanda Wilson, 44, filed for re-election Feb. 5. Board president Hank McFarland, 57, who represents Ward B, filed for re-election Feb. 2.
Two incumbents on the Hall County Board of Commissioners have not yet filed for re-election. They are Scott Sorensen, who represents District 3; and Jane Richardson, who represents District 5. Board Chairman Ron Peterson has previously announced that he will not file for re-election.
