GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested two 13-year-old males at 2:58 a.m. Feb. 14 after they were caught committing a burglary at a bake shop on South Locust Street.
Grand Island police Division Chief Dean Elliott said that officers responded to an alarm at the business. When they arrived, they saw two people running away. Front door glass was shattered to gain entrance into the business.
Police recovered the stolen property that was involved.
The first male was arrested for felony burglary and misdemeanor possession of a tobacco/electronic nicotine use for a person under 21. The second male was arrested for felony burglary, misdemeanor obstructing a police officer, and misdemeanor tobacco/electronic nicotine use for a person under 21.
