KEARNEY — NebraskaLand Bank is proud to announce the 2025 recipients of its “My Fair Share” program, an employee-driven initiative that has been making a difference in our community since 2004.

Through this annual program, NebraskaLand Bank employees contribute a portion of their paychecks to support nonprofit organizations and causes that uplift our communities.

This year, thanks to the generosity of our incredible team, $18,900.00 will be distributed to eight deserving organizations, including McKenna’s Rae of Hope, Kearney Animal Shelter, Kearney Area Community Foundation, Bridge of Hope, Make-A-Wish Nebraska, the Autism Society of Nebraska, Hospice of Sweetwater County, and Sweetwater Family Resource Center.

The “My Fair Share” program stands as a testament to the culture of NebraskaLand Bank. Employees not only nominate organizations close to their hearts but also pledge their support throughout the year, embodying the spirit of generosity that drives our success.

Mike Jacobson, President and CEO of NebraskaLand Bank recently said “for the past 22 years, our employees have stepped up and contributed a portion of their own funds to worthy charitable organizations in the communities where we are located, and I am incredibly proud of each person who has made this program a success. In 2025, the My Fair Share Campaign collected more than $18,000 for causes in North Platte, Kearney and Rock Springs, Wyoming. Community-minded isn’t just a slogan-it’s our culture. Congratulations to this year’s recipients and to the employees who made this possible.”

Since the program’s inception, NebraskaLand Bank employees have collectively donated an astounding $251,000 to support meaningful causes.

The Bank will celebrate this year’s recipients by hosting a breakfast and check presentation at its Kearney, North Platte, and Rock Springs locations. The My Fair Share Breakfast and Check Presentation will be held at NebraskaLand Bank, 4615 2nd Ave, Kearney on February 20, at 8:30 AM.
