GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested Damion Perez, 18, of Grand Island for three separate incidents.

Grand Island Police Division Chief Dean Elliott said in the first case, two 16-year-old males and a 17-year-old male were watching a Grand Island Senior High School student protest on Feb. 16 that was located at the Five Points roundabout. The juveniles were parked in the Super Saver parking lot.

Perez allegedly pulled up next to them and pointed a handgun at the. The three victims and the suspect left the area. Perez was arrested Feb. 19 for felony terroristic threats and felony using a firearm to commit a felony.

In the second incident, a 17-year-old Grand Island male reported at 8:29 p.m. Feb. 17 that four gunshots had penetrated his home, in the vicinity of his bedroom. The incident occurred on South Eugene Street. Perez was arrested for felony intentional discharge of a firearm at a house, felony using a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

In the third incident, a 27-year-old female and 29-year-old male from Texas who are married were shopping at Target at 8 p.m. Feb. 15. Perez allegedly approached them, pulled up his shirt, and revealed a pistol. He was eventually arrested for felony terroristic threats and felony using a weapon to commit a felony.
