LEXINGTON — On Thursday morning, March 5, 2026, the Lexington Police Department conducted simultaneous arrests operations on two subjects.

Investigators with the Lexington Police Department had obtained arrest warrants for the individuals on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute.

The Lexington Police Department located two subjects and arrested both subjects without incident. The first subject was 45-year-old David Boesch, who resides in Smithfield, was arrested at his place of employment in Lexington and the second subject was 42-year-old Robert J. Brown, who resides near Elwood, and was arrested at a trailer park located in the southern part of Lexington.

Additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Concealed Firearm were added to Robert Brown after his arrest. Both men were transported to the Dawson County jail.

The Lexington Police Department was assisted by the Lexington Police Department’s ESU

Team, the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, the Nebraska State Patrol, and task force officers with the C.O.D.E. task force. All follow up investigation will be conducted by the Lexington Police Department.
