HASTINGS — For its 38th annual Tribute to Women Awards, the YWCA Adams County seeks the jewels in the community.
The qualifications: exceptional women who champion other women, make significant contributions to our community through volunteer and professional organizations, and demonstrate unwavering commitment to eliminating discrimination within our local area.
Visit ywcaadamscounty.org to nominate women in the following categories: College, Young Professional (49 years old and younger), and 50+ Rockstars. The High School Tribute Award recipient has been determined. Nominations are due Friday, March 27.
“We have amazing women of all ages working tirelessly to make Hastings and surrounding communities outstanding places to live and work,” said Alicia O’Donnell, Executive Director of the YWCA. “Let’s honor these ‘jewels in the community’ by adding them to the names of past Tribute to Women Award winners. To honor them, we need nominations.”
The nominees will be celebrated and the winners announced at a 6:30 pm reception and 7:15 pm dinner on Monday, April 27. Tickets are $15 for YWCA Adams County members and $20 for nonmembers. To reserve a seat, purchase a ticket at ywcaadamscounty.org/shop or call the YWCA Adams County at 402.462.8821. The deadline for purchasing a dinner ticket is Thursday, April 23.
