GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested Gregory Taitano of Grand Island at 7:15 p.m. March 12 in north central Grand Island after a reported assault between a male and a female.
Taitano was contacted at his residence. He resisted arrest and assaulted officers.
The victim was a 37-year-old female.
Taitano was arrested for misdemeanor child abuse involving two children, misdemeanor domestic third-degree assault, felony third-degree assault on two police officers, misdemeanor driving during revocation, and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
