LEXINGTON — The City of Lexington is currently experiencing an unplanned power outage affecting portions of the community this morning, (Tuesday, March 17.)
Around 461 customers were impacted by the outage in Lexington, mainly north of Highway 30 and west of Adams St.
According to the Nebraska Public Power District, a crew has been dispatched and a cause has not yet been determined.
“Utility crews are on site and working to make repairs. We appreciate your patience and will restore power as quickly as possible. Additional updates will be shared as they become available,” per the City of Lexington.
One of the impacted entities was Lexington Regional Health Center which stated, “At this time, we are still assessing the situation and do not have a confirmed timeline for restoration. Some phone lines remain operational, not all. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 immediately.”
