GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police responded to a business on North Broadwell Avenue at 8:12 p.m. March 19 regarding a request to remove a person from the business.
Francisco Vela of Grand Island was arrested for felony second-offense resisting arrest, third-degree assault of an officer/health care professional, misdemeanor second-degree criminal trespassing, and misdemeanor obstructing a police officer.
The victim was a 32-year-old male.
