Interstate 80 in central Nebraska, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
ALDA — Weather permitting, work will begin March 31 on Interstate 80 (I-80), at reference post 305.69 in the westbound lanes, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
JMS Construction, LLC, of Valley, is the contractor for this project. Night work includes girder repair. Traffic will be maintained with lane closures. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is April 2026.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
