GRAND ISLAND – The Grand Island Public Library will be closed on Sunday, April 5, in observance of Easter.

The closure allows library staff the opportunity to spend the holiday with family and loved ones.

Regular hours will resume on Monday, April 6, and all library services will be available at that time.

Patrons are encouraged to plan ahead for any materials they may need prior to the holiday closure.

While the physical location will be closed, the library’s digital resources will remain accessible 24/7.

Cardholders can continue to check out eBooks and audiobooks, access online databases and utilize a variety of educational and entertainment resources through the library’s website.

The Grand Island Public Library appreciates the community’s understanding and wishes residents a safe and happy Easter.
