GRAND ISLAND — Law enforcement is investigating after two individuals were reported to have stolen over $1,000 in merchandise from a Menards location on Friday, April 3.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers responded to the Menards location at 3620 W. State St. in reference to a shoplifting incident that had occurred.
Officers determined a male and female were reported to have entered the store and taken several items whose value totaled $1,801.00 and left the store without paying.
A suspect vehicle has been identified, and video of the suspects was taken from the store.
The GIPD continues to investigate the incident.
