NORTH PLATTE – Residents near North Platte were prompted earlier today to evacuate due to an ongoing grass fire east of Twin Lake road.
Residents who live along Rolling Hills Rd north of North Platter were advised to a evacuate due to a large grass fire, according to the North Platte Police Department.
NPPD stated that the Salvation Army is open to those impacted by the grass fire evacuation.
As of 12:44pm Monday Feb 26. NPPD stated that residents north of Brady to turn on their center pivots to help with the grass fire that is headed east.
Several fire department agencies are on the scene.
