LINCOLN – Reports from ESPN have surfaced that Nebraska is finalizing a deal to bring current Washington athletic director Troy Dannen to replace Trev Alberts.
The move would come exactly one week following the Cornhusker alum’s departure to Texas A&M.
Dannen arrived in Washington in October, and quickly replaced departed football coach Kalen DeBoer with Jedd Fisch after the Huskies advanced to the College Football Championship game. Dannen also fired basketball coach Mike Hopkins.
