Kearney was able to tie up yesterday’s HAC Baseball Semifinal against Lincoln East in the Top of the 5th inning.
Then, the #1 team in the state did what the #1 team in the state can do. Jeter Worthley would slam a home run to lead off the bottom of the 5th, and Lincoln East would add three runs in the sixth inning to defeat the Bearcats, 8-3.

Kearney was only able to muster four hits in the contest, two of which belong to Kole Throckmorton. He had a triple in the third inning and a ground rule double in the fifth inning to start the rally.
Lincoln East would move on to win the HAC Championship over Grand Island, 10-0.
Kearney Baseball is at home tomorrow (Saturday) against North Platte. First pitch is set for noon with Ethan McCormick on the call.
