“Today was a really good result for us.  To come away with 2 wins is a really good day.  Lincoln Southeast always has a tough team year in and year out.  Our singles definitely carried the day for us winning both of their matches.  Emma, Emilee, and Addy all did an excellent job of staying patient.  Each of them did a great job of setting up points.  They used various shots and spins to force their opponents into errors or give themselves a chance to hit a winning shot.  Emily and Sophia at #3 Doubles were also double winners today.  Emily and Sophia did a great job of raising their level of play late in the match against Lincoln Southeast.  They were down 6-5 before winning the final 3 games.  Emily and Sophia used strong returns to set each other up.  They also got a lot of free points off of their first serves.” – Kearney High Girls Tennis Coach Troy Saulsbury
