KEARNEY — A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after a collision north of Kearney during the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 24.
Around 4 p.m., the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of 2nd Avenue (Highway 10) and 115th Road north of Kearney for the report of an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
On scene, an SUV with heavy front-end damage had come to a stop facing west on 115 Road, a motorcycle with damage was located on the westbound side of Second Ave.
According to the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcyclist was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. The state of their injuries was not available on scene.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office and Good Samaritan Ambulance Services assisted on scene.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
