BIRMINGHAM, ALAB. – The United Football league announced earlier today that former Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez was named the 2024 UFL Most Valuable Player after a stellar season leading the Birmingham Stallions.

Martinez was the league-leader in rushing yards with 528 yards through the regular season. He finished third in the league in passing yards and was tied for second with fifteen passing touchdowns.

The all-time leader in Nebraska Football’s career yardage finished with 2,277 total yards of offense and aided his team’s 9-1 finish while also claiming the UFL Championship.

Martinez and the Stallions are in action for the United Football League Championship game this weekend, facing the XFL Conference Champion San Antonio Brahmas.
