GRAND ISLAND — A man was arrested in Grand Island for criminal impersonation and an active Valley County warrant during the evening of Tuesday, July 9.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 8:32 p.m., Gregory Lyions was contacted as the result of a trespassing investigation.

Officers say that Lyions would provide a false name of a relative and was also in possession of the relative’s driver’s license.

It was also discovered that Lyions had an active Valley County warrant for failure to appear.

Lyions would be arrested for criminal impersonation and the Valley County warrant. He would then be booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
