GRAND ISLAND — A woman who was reported for repeatedly knocking at an apartment door was found to have an active Hall County warrant and was in possession of methamphetamine during the early morning hours of Friday, Aug. 2.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, at 5:47 a.m., a reporting party stated that someone was repeatedly knocking on an apartment door at Lakeview Circle.
Officers contacted Denna Dice outside the apartment and a records check showed that she had an active and confirmed Hall County warrant.
Dice was placed under arrest and a search incident to arrest led to the discovery of methamphetamine and glass smoking pipe.
Dice was arrested for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Hall County warrant. She was booked into the Hall County Department of Corrections.
