CENTRAL CITY — The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office is a recipient of Lexipol’s Excellence in Training award for 2023.
Merrick County received this recognition for improving our department policies, advancing our training requirements, continuous updates on laws and policy changes, and it allows our patrol and corrections staff to achieve training on-line without the burden of travel and lodging expenses.
Our staff has utilized these training opportunities as an effective resource to better serve our communities.
