ST. PAUL — The St. Paul Police Department is warning business and residents of solicitors claiming to projects for law enforcement.
“Be cautious of a company soliciting donations for a project supporting the St. Paul Police Department. Things are being told to businesses that were never agreed upon,” per the St. Paul Police Department.
“Donate to legitimate organizations like The National Child Safety Council, which provides safety materials and pencils for community events, instead,” the department stated.
