GRAND ISLAND – A Grand Island man convicted of three felony counts of possession of child pornography had his sentencing continued Aug. 21 until 10 a.m. Oct. 3.

Anthony T. Lengfelder, 34, of 1416 W. Anna Apt. 4 pleaded no contest on May 30 to three felony counts of possession of child pornography. Twenty-five other felony counts of possession of child pornography were dismissed.

The incidents to which Lengfelder pleaded no contest occurred on Aug. 6, 2023.

According to a Grand Island Police Department probable cause statement dated Aug. 6, 2023, police responded to 1416 W. Anna St. to investigate a tip that Lengfelder had possession of child pornography on his computer and phone. A search warrant for these items was granted. A laptop computer with Lengfelder’s name in the sign-in was located, and child pornography was located, the probable cause statement said.

District Judge Ryan Carson is presiding in the case. Hall County Deputy Public Defender Vicky Kenney is representing Lengfelder, and Hall County Attorney Marty Klein is the prosecutor.
