KEARNEY — Congratulations to Lisa Cline and Kristy Childress for being named the Kearney Public Schools Employees of the Month!
Lisa, the dedicated secretary at Kearney High School, received high praise for her tireless efforts. One colleague shared, “Lisa goes above and beyond to ensure Kearney High is a well-oiled machine and does it all with a bright attitude.” Another noted, “Lisa is extremely organized and maintains her friendly nature during the most hectic of times. She is truly the pulse of KHS.” At the same time, another added, “She is a no-brainer for Employee of the Month—frankly, she should be included each month!”
Kristy, an EL teacher, was equally celebrated, with nominations stating, “Kristy is a very hardworking and kind individual. She is always smiling and radiating positivity. She is amazing with her students and does a great job of building positive relationships in the classroom.” Another shared, “Kristy has handled the challenges of the increase of ELL students with her welcoming ways and determination to make sure they feel welcome, as well as advocating for each student to make sure their needs are met.”
Both received a $500 gift from the KPS Foundation for their extraordinary contributions. Thank you, Lisa and Kristy, for your exceptional dedication and positivity!
