Kearney High Softball Falls to Spartans in Doubleheader

Kearney, Nebraska – The Lincoln East Spartans beat the Kearney Bearcats 10-1 and 9-2 on Tuesday, September 5 at Patriot Park.

Lincoln East improved to 9-2 on the season and will play next at home against Columbus on Thursday, September 7.

Kearney fell to 7-7 on the season. The Bearcats face Lincoln North Star next for a double-header on Thursday, September 7 at Patriot Park.

Kearney, Nebraska – The Kearney Bearcat JV split a double-header with Lincoln East JV on Tuesday night at Patriot Park. The Spartans took the first game 15-3 while the Bearcats came back in the second game of the night winning 5-2.

The Bearcat JV softball team is now 6-9 on the season. They have games this week at home, Thursday, September 7 against Lincoln North Star and on Saturday, traveling to Grand Island for a tournament Saturday at Veterans Park.

Lincoln East JV is now 8-4-1 on the year and will play Columbus on Thursday, September 7 at Doris Bair Softball Complex.
